Member Welcome Email Necessities
When a new member joins your association, they are looking for confirmation of the value of your organization. They want to know that they will gain something from having just paid for membership, where to find resources and benefits, and who to contact if they have questions. Give them that! One of the first touchpoints new members should receive is a welcome email. Below are a few key points to include in order to set members up for a successful onboarding experience.
Our First Attendee Experience at a Hybrid Event
Jodi and JoEllen attended their first hybrid event this month and are here to breakdown their experience. The goal of attending this conference was to gain knowledge on how to planning meetings as we move forward, how to keep attendees safe, and what kind of messaging attendees should be receiving before, during, and after the meeting.
2021: A Year of Recovery
Although COVID-19 is still here and does not appear to be going away quite yet, it is important to focus on recovering and building up your association again in 2021. You might have to look at your strategic plan and shift gears a bit but it is important to continue to remain flexible as you strategize about the upcoming year. As of now, there are still so many unknowns. Will events be back? Are members tired of Zoom? How will a vaccine impact our daily lives? Are members able and willing to continue paying membership? These are all questions to consider when brainstorming strategies for 2021.
